Materials:

18 feet of 24-gauge sterling silver
1 foot of 20-gauge sterling silver
13 crystals
1 sterling round bead
2 sterling jump rings
4 head sterling pins
hair clasp rod
2 end sterling bars
flat nose pliers
round nose pliers
cutters
wooden clamp

Steps:

1. Cut 12 silver wires about 1-1/2 feet long.

2. Clamp the wires to the wooden clamp (figure A).

3. Macramé with the crystals (figure B).

4. Wrap loose ends and connect the sterling bars (figure C).

5. To attach beads to the metal rod: Untwist the wire at the end of the rod and add the sterling bead. Loop the end of the wire to hold the bead in place. Then add three crystals onto the head pins. Loop each one to hold the crystal in place (figure D). Put all three on a jump ring and attach to the loop on the rod.

6. Slide the metal rod through the clasp.
