4. Condition a block of polymer clay by softening it in your hands. Roll it out into a sheet 1/4 inch thick using a rolling pin.

5. Using a palette knife, place the leaf-shaped wire onto the clay sheet and cut around the leaf 1/8 inch larger than the wire shape. Wrap the excess clay around the edges of the wire, smoothing the leaf with your hands. Repeat for all the leaves.
