Silk Ribbon Embroidery

Carol is joined by guest Judith Baker Montano, whose talents are well-known in the industry and who is also the author of several needlecraft books. Judith demonstrates some of the beautiful effects that may be achieved when embroidering with silk ribbon, an art that originated in the 17th century. She shows how to make a ribbon flower, talks about the "Montano Sloppy Knot," and demonstrates how to make a French knot using a running stitch.
