Notes about Light Effects threads:

Light Effects uses the same color numbering system as DMC cotton embroidery floss, plus an "E" prefix on the color number. For example, your favorite color no. 321 in cotton floss has a corresponding color no. E321 in Light Effects.

Light Effects skeins are 8.7 yards, the same as DMC cotton embroidery floss. Plus, the strands are the same thickness for both threads. So you can easily combine them in a project or substitute Light Effects for its matching color in cotton floss.
