Here are a few craft tips that you might find useful:
  • Large padded emery boards available from beauty supply stores are wonderful for sanding small, tricky areas (figure A). Plus, they come in different grains, just like sandpaper.
  • Old rubber gloves are great for pulling caps off markers. Cut a piece off the top of an old glove, and it works just like the rubber jar lid openers.
  • Don't throw old markers away without removing the caps. The old caps can be used in case you lose the tops of new ones.
  • To make products like Stick & Hold, or Peel 'n Stick easier to cut, put talcum powder on the scissor blades before cutting.
