Betsy Quick, director of the education department at the UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History, discusses the student quilting project that she founded, and lists the criteria she used to choose among the submitted quilts. Next, teacher Michelle Leddel discusses the "Peace Quilt" her students made, and describes the project's impact on her and the students. Then, classroom volunteer Susan Irving and art teacher Candace Baker join Alex Anderson to discuss their roles in student quilt projects. Finally, Anderson introduces Karol Mills-Marbury, who tells how she also became involved in student quilting.
