In Living Color

Carol Duvall Show : Episode CDS-143 -- More Projects »
Carol and Deborah Harmon evaluate some of the coloring products on the market, including some crayons intended for adults, which allow water to be added after coloring in an area. The water will transform the drawing into a watercolor masterpiece. Furthermore, if you use a hair dryer to blow heat on the area while coloring, it causes the crayon to melt and cake, thereby yielding a more vibrant look.

Carol and Deborah also inspect and critique some of products with the familiar Crayola logo, including Undercolors and Overwriters, which are packaged together as a set. Their application is worthwhile: Color in a background with the Undercolors and write over the image with the Overwriters.

Like the aforementioned product from Hunt, Crayola offers a marker that enables the watercolor effect when water is applied to the colored-in area. Not to be outdone, pictures drawn with Crayola Jumping Colors appear to be three-dimensional when viewed through special glasses.
