Carol demonstrates how to use kits and other supplies to assemble your own clocks. Using one's imagination, the clocks can be made out of almost any material, including foam board, wood, boxes, bowls or even vinyl records. They can be decorated with a vast array of materials, as well. For example, Carol unveiled a clock upon which a child's name was spelled with blocks that also served as the "numbers" on the clock face. Another used poker chips to delineate the hours.
To make a clock, all that's required are the clockworks and a clock face. Decorations (including numbers), are optional. To make her personalized clock in just a few simple steps, Carol covers a piece of foam board with Con-Tact Paper, attaches her clockworks to it, and sets the time. Carol offers a final tip: Be sure that the length of the shaft attached to the hands of the clock is long enough to slide completely through to the front of the clock face.
