Tape favorite t-shirts to a board and tuck them in a box frame, which makes them easy to change when desired.
Materials:

1" x 3" pieces of wood
hand saw
wood glue
finish nails
Masonite
masking tape
picture frame hook
T-shirts for display
primer
satin or semi-gloss paint

Steps:

  1. Build the outer frame that will hold the T-shirt in place. Using the 1" x 3"pieces of wood, cut two pieces 21-3/4 inches long for the sides and two pieces 16 inches long for the top and bottom. Glue the pieces together. Reinforce the frame by tapping in some finish nails at each corner, and wipe off any glue that seeps from the seams. Let the frame dry thoroughly.
  2. When the frame is thoroughly dry, apply a coat of primer. Once dry, add desired topcoat. While the topcoat is drying, cut a piece of masonite to the size of the opening of the frame (minus 1/4 inch on all sides).
  3. Wrap a T-shirt around the Masonite, being sure to center the design on the shirt . Tape the shirt to the back of the Masonite, trying to keep it as flat as possible on all edges. When the frame is dry, insert the T-shirt/Masonite into the back opening of the frame. Hang the frame from a hook in the back.
