In creating visually pleasing color combinations in the garden, many gardeners often find that orange-red and magenta flowers are difficult to integrate with flowers of other hues. To use these two colors effectively, keep them in separate areas to prevent them from clashing, and try grouping them with flowers of lighter colors that complement their bright shades. For example, arrange magenta blooms with colors such as pale lilac, pink or violet.
