After remodeling most of their home in a more classical style, the owners felt it was time to redo their 300-square-foot master bath. The bathroom's 80s décor didn't match the rest of the house. There was also a lot of unused space around the whirlpool tub and in an empty dressing room off the bathroom. Having recently traveled to Italy, the owners decided to incorporate the beauty of Venice into the remodeled bath.
Detailed mosaic tiles, custom cabinetry and incredible limestone columns give the space an opulent atmosphere. Replacing the old whirlpool with a freestanding tub created an open floor plan. A coffee nook and television were added after relocating the vanity into a dressing area. A relaxing steam shower replaced the old standing shower and entranceway.
