Raikes next focuses on adding color to the carport and surrounding areas. She begins by painting the carport's large concrete wall a salmon shade and capping the structure in flagstone. This color echoes her plantings in shades of pink, salmon, peach and purple that are seen in the flowering plants surrounding the carport. Evergreens of varying textures are planted in the shady areas.
