Wired Windowsills

Rick Gesue loves the warmth of candlelight. As a child, he loved the tradition of putting candles in the windows as a sign of patriotism and hospitality. But over the years, he became frustrated with the electric or battery operated candles offered by manufacturers. By chance, he met homeowner Bob Tracey and an idea was born. Why not invent a candle that you can plug right into a windowsill?

Using Tracey's home as a test lab, Gesue developed an outlet that can be placed right into the sill and an electric candle that plugs right in. Tracey now has sill lights burning safely in every window of his new home. Gesue assembles and installs each light by hand.
