Before, kitchen
The homeowners loved the look and feel of their 1920s home, but not the outdated floor plan and amenities. The couple and their two children wanted more bedroom space on the second floor and a main floor better suited for entertaining. The goal of the remodel was to meet these needs while minimizing the changes to the charming brick exterior.

After, new family room
Architect Bob Wilcoff's design blended the new spaces with the old, both inside and out. On the main floor, the kitchen was expanded and a family room was added. The main floor is now open and bright, perfect for entertaining. A new master suite was added upstairs. The exterior remains true to the original Tudor style despite the new additions. The back of the home features a screened-in porch, patio and large turreted circular stair tower. An exercise room was added to the basement.
