Figure A
Materials:

FolkArt Artist's Acrylics (Sap Green, Pure Black, Alizarin Crimson, True Burgundy )
brushes (#6 and #10 flat brush, 1" square wash brush, #2 script liner)
FolkArt glass and tile medium
white drawing paper
aluminum foil
black fine-tip permanent waterproof marker
rubbing alcohol
lint-free rag

Steps:

  1. Clean the glass with rubbing alcohol. Evenly apply a generous coat of glass and tile medium. Note: It's very important to allow it to dry for at least 48 hours .
  2. Place the glass over the chosen design and use the marker to neatly trace the entire image onto the coated side of the glass.
  3. Use a slightly wet liner brush and black to carefully paint the entire background and around the design. Do this carefully and slowly to avoid mistakes (wipe any immediately ). Let dry.
  4. Apply a second coat of black paint to the background so it's opaque. Let dry .
  5. Add a translucent layer of Alizarin Crimson to the entire flower. Use True Burgundy on half the brush to add light shading and dimension. Let dry.
  6. Use the same technique to paint the leaves Sap Green. Let dry.
  7. Crumple the foil and open it up without removing all the wrinkles. Put the glass /design on top of the foil and adjust the wrinkles as necessary.
