Designer Paul Duchscherer completes this transformation with a virtual makeover that is done on the computer.
He continues to restore the period details on this home by replacing the concrete front steps with wooden stairs flanked by decorative railings and posts. He also adds decorative trimwork on the overhead entryway, a decorative cornice down the side of the building, and trim work around the windows.
Finally, he adds quoins down the corners of the front and plants a date palm by the curb.
